The principle of equal stress on integrity and ability
When choosing and employing personnel, we follow the principle of overall evaluation and equal stress on integrity and ability. We persist in the philosophy of “those who have good moral character but without talent are the mediocre; those who have talent but without good moral character are base person; both integrity and ability are stressed.
The principle of consequentialism
In terms of using personnel, we evaluate them by ability rather than education background and by their working level rather than diploma. Whatever identify, diploma, and age a person may have, we shall entrust him or her with an important post as long as he or she has done a good job and showed more excellent work performance. So far the average age of our technical personnel and middle management is around 35 and that of our workshop manager is roughly 30. Although they are not senior in age and some of them do not have high degree, they are capable, enthusiastic in work and have good work performance. Adhering to the employment mechanism of consequentialism, we are just able to allow a great many talents who have both integrity and ability to have stood out and become the backbone for corporate development.
The principle of practice
As the saying goes, “Real jade needs to be burnt for three days; It takes seven years to judge a real talent”. For years, we have been appointing professionals of our company to the first production line of our workshop, so that we may allow them to be fostered and to make improvement during practice. Ultimately we may choose the more outstanding through public examination.
The principle of selecting the superior and eliminating the inferior
With regard to talent selection, we have changed the idea from “discovering fine horse by Bole” to “choosing horse at the race course”. We shall entrust whoever can do a good job with an important post. Otherwise, he can only be eliminated.
The principle of “everyone is a talent”
For using talents, we no longer depend on fixed patterns and a sense of mystery. Instead, we strive to meet the requirement of “appointing post according to specific person and using personnel according to their specific condition”. As long as a personnel gives the full play to his or her wisdom at the appropriate post, he or she is a talent in the real sense. According to this principle and each personnel’s level, strong points, experience, and character, we shall appoint them to a relatively suitable post so as to meet the principle of “let everybody fully display his talents, and make the best of the talent of every personnel”. All these efforts are conducive to the sustained, speedy and efficient growth of our company.
